Eagle Scout Recipient
-
I became an Eagle Scout when I was 17 years old. I helped arrange over 35 trees to be donated to my high school. After receiving the trees, I oversaw and led the effort to plant each 700-pound sapling. It took over a week of hard work, over 100 volunteers, and plenty of shovels.
Athletics
-
I grew up playing several sports but narrowed it down to basketball and football while in high school. I was starting varsity quarterback all four years of high school. I received 5 total letters throughout high school. I currently play quarterback at Division I FCS Southern Utah University.
D.A.R.E Program Ambassador
-
During my senior year of high school (2014-2015), I spoke to 5th graders from 7 different elementary schools about how making good decisions and staying away from drugs and alcohol has benefited my life. I also shared with them the importance of setting goals and working hard.
Youth Court Judge
-
While I was a senior in high school, I was appointed by our school officer to be a judge for the youth court. While being a judge, I learned the importance of responsibility, integrity, and how to deliberate with others. I also learned a great deal of empathy and gained perspective.
